I placed an order for a complete box set about $220 on September 6th and it is now September 24th. My order has not even shipped yet! I understand things are running a bit slow due to the pandemic but I feel the company should provide that information up front. I received the conformation e-mail that I placed my order right after I paid, but was never given an estimated shipping time. I contacted the company on September 13th and got an email back on the 15th stating that my order was in pre-shipment and I will be notified when it ships. It is now the 24 of September and I have heard nothing. I emailed a cancellation request today as I was needing this before Halloween and at this rate I have no idea if that will happen. I would have loved to try this game but at I am put off now by the poor communication and shipping speed.
I would like to update my review. The company did reach out to me and provide a resolution. They were apologetic that the shipping was so delayed and communication poor. I was told that they switching between systems and it did not go as well as expected. We played the first episode and it seemed well thought out and very detailed.
Took a chance on them despite being very skeptical about the game. I have to thank my cousin for recommending them to me because their higher costs are so worth the price. It was so fun to do this with my family, especially during quarantine!

So much fun. Three of us solve the clues each month together.,only through three months hit it’s been fantastic. Very cleverly done.
So far my friend and I have completed 4 out of 6 boxes. She is an evidence tech and I’m in the records division of a police department, so we love this work away from work! It likes to throw you off and have you really think about the timeline and come up with multiple scenarios, I would compare it to real detective work. We can’t wait to solve this crime!
Great experience with my wife and I over the last months working through our first boxed set. Really enjoyed it!
Currently doing the Blair Witch and have enjoyed every second of it! Very easy to do with friends via zoom and has been what our friends group has needed for a distraction from covid. Once we are past covid I can see hunt a killer being the glue that keeps my wife and I and our friends and family we are separated by distance connected!
We love solving mystery, puzzle, and anything that makes us think outside the box. So much fun in trying to solve what happened and even our disagreements or guesses are hilarious. Its great to play during game night with family and friends.
The Mystery side of Hunt a Killer is amazing. It’s super fun and immersive. The horror side is somewhat lacking. It’s the first season of their first case (Blair Witch) so there are to be some kinks in the works. However, I’ve been told the 3rd box of BW is indefinitely delayed and subscriptions are being paused. Definitely sign up for the mystery box though! It’s amazing.
I was under the impression that each box was a mystery. Depending on the story you will need about 6 months of boxes. So before you solve a mystery, be ready to spend $180+ on it. No refunds.
It was fun, maybe a little too easy for me. I figured out who the killer was in the second box. I enjoyed it and will continue my subscription
